Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL)
Measures application of skills to problem-solving tasks and real-world situations.
Questions are multiple choice, draw graphs, short answer, compare and contrast information from multiple texts and draft short essays.
Results are a score that shows student performance relative to a high and fixed standard of achievement. The standard is set to challenge the student and prepare them for the skills they will need in tomorrow's world.
Successful completion will be a graduation requirement in the near future.
