The third grade students would like to thank Sensei Casey of North Sound Karate for coming to Discovery Elementary last month. Sensei Casey and six of his students gave an exciting karate demonstration while focusing on the importance of safety and self-defense.

Sensei Casey began his karate training at the age of six and has been studying martial arts for over twenty-five years. He is an 8 time US National Team member and has trained extensively throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. Many of the students are gold medal winners and also have performed in other countries.
