Bridge To Terabithia

If you like the author Katharine Paterson then you will like this book bridge to teribithithia. This story takes place in a small town south in the 1960’s. The problem is that Jesse Aarons and Leslie Burkes starts to not talk and go to Terabithia anymore together and they start to do things apart from each other.

Jesse Aarons meets a new girl that just moved in at the old Perkins place. And the girls name was Leslie Burkes and they become friends. They are put into the same class together. During recess Leslie Burkes tries the races against Jesse Aarons and guess what Leslie wins the race because Leslie is faster than Jesse . But one recess Leslie hears Janice Avery crying in the bathroom so she goes in to see what’s wrong when she comes out and Jesse is waiting for her. When Jesse asks Leslie what was wrong she said that Janice gets beat by her Father because Janice’s father is a drunk(meaning he drinks). But when she told her friends that she gets beat by her dad and they told everyone in there school. But then tragedy strikes later in the book Bridge To Terabithia. But you will have to read the book to see what happens.
