If you like humongous rats, bats, and bugs that attack you should read Gregor the Overlander. By Suzanne Collins.

This book sets in the present day in the mystical underland. An eleven year old boy named Gregor follows his little sister Boots through a gateway in the laundry room Gregor was terrified because he was falling in a dark mist but Boots was having fun and giggling as she fell. Down in the underland Gregor and Boots meet lots of people like Vikus, Temp, Tick, Luxa,

Ripred, Mareth and lots of others. In the underland Gregor discovers something about his missing father in the underland. As Gregor tries to get home he discovers he is in a mystical prophecy. This book has a shocking ending even I couldn’t believe.

I recommend this book to any one who likes fantasy and adventure.
