This book is called Shiloh and the author is Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.

Have you ever heard of Shiloh? Well let me tell you it’s a magnificent book because it all starts with an 11 year old boy named Marty. He is poor and doesn’t have a lot of food. His enemy is Jud Travis. Jud lives on the other side of the hill. Jud is meaner then heck because he shot his own dog. Marty believes that Jud abuses his dogs. So a couple of week later Marty sees this dog and he names the dog Shiloh he tries to hid Shiloh on the? This book is interesting because there a lot of problems, some interesting characters and a lot of mysteries. Will Marty ever save Shiloh? I don’t now you just have to read the book to find out.

I recommend that dog lovers and mystery lovers and people who like to salve problems and others should read this book.
