The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool.

The DECA Program is a strength-based assessment and

planning system for children ages 2-5.   This is a comprehensive system that helps children to develop healthy social/emotional skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

Second Step: A Violence Prevention Curriculum

The award-winning Second Step program teaches social

and emotional skills for violence prevention. The program

includes research-based, teacher-friendly curricula, training for educators, and parent-education components.

 

Personal Safety                                                                As a comprehensive personal safety program, the

Talking About Touching curriculum teaches children simple safety rules that guide them toward safe decision making in a variety of situations:  traffic safety, finding weapons, responding to a fire emergency, getting permission from a parent, what is a safe touch and how to respond to unwanted touches, how to be assertive and how to ask for help.  Parents receive a preview before this is implemented.
