Text Box: Art Fair /Ice Cream Social/Book Fair Coming Soon!   Don’t forget to save the date for the Art Fair/Ice Cream Social/Book Fair coming up on Thursday, May 15 at 5:00.  Students from all grade levels will display their art work.  Families are welcome to enjoy free ice cream sundaes as they walk through the displays and look at all the wonderful art.  Families can also go to the library and choose books from our second wonderful book fair.  What could be better – great books, fabulous art, and FREE ice cream!  We hope to see you there!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Text Box: Take Your Daughter/Son to Work Day   The national observance of Take your Daughter/Son to Work Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 24th.  (It is always held on the fourth Thursday of April) Unfortunately, this date conflicts with the WASL testing in elementary grades 3, 4, and 5.  In response to this conflict of dates, Governor Gregoire has asked state agencies to delay observance of the day.  The new date is tentatively set for May 22nd.   While state agencies will hopefully fall in line with the Governor’s request, private industry will probably continue to observe the date on April 24th.  If at all possible, we encourage you to observe the May 22 date, so that testing can be completed without disruption.  We appreciate your help in making sure that your child is at school during all days of WASL testing.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tardies

Any student who comes in after the 8:50 tardy bell must be accompanied by a parent in the office with a validated note or excuse.  Students who are late without a validated note will be considered as an unexcused tardy.
