Fifth Grade Supply List

Dear Parents of Fifth Grade Students:

An important part of the educational program at Endeavour Elementary includes establishing good study skills.  Toward that end, students need to come to school with the basic supplies listed below.  In addition, individual teachers may request other specific materials during the school year.  Please be certain that your child arrives at school with these supplies and check periodically to replenish those items that get used up.

            3-ring binder – Plain (1½” - 2” rings – NO LARGER)  NO ZIPPERS PLEASE

2 - College ruled notebook paper (no spiral wire notebook paper) (Replenish as needed)

            3 – Composition books (hot item)

            12 - #2 pencils (sharpened) per trimester (Replenish as needed)

            2 – red correcting ballpoint pens per trimester (or send 6 in September)

            1 good pair of scissors (metal, rounded Fiskar-type)

            1 – 3-holed zippered pen/pencil pouch

            3 – Large glue sticks

            Nice set of 24 colored pencils (VERY IMPORTANT)  (NO CRAYONS)

            12” ruler, metric/standard

2 – dry erase markers (not yellow)

            3 – black Flair felt pens (if you can find them – hot item)

            1 – clean “orphaned” sock (for white boards)

            1 – 2 Boxes of Kleenex

1 - box baby wipes or large bottle hand sanitizer

           $5.00 for National Geographic (classroom magazine – student edition) or miscellaneous (CASH OR CHECKS MADE OUT TO YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER)

** Please remember that your child will need to have some materials replenished regularly.

Please mark all supplies and personal belongings (lunch box, backpack, coat) with your child’s name.
