About Fairmount

Fairmount is a culturally and academically diverse school that serves students with a strong instructional program, a wide range of activities, an extensive student recognition program, and an ongoing partnership with parents and the community. 

Our goal is to help all students reach their maximum academic, physical and social potential. In addition to the regular program, the Lighthouse program is for students in grades 1 to 5. 

A variety of instructional strategies are used to teach all populations, including cooperative learning, peer tutoring, team teaching, whole group, small group and individual teaching.
