Thank you for visiting our site on the Internet. The Mukilteo School District serves a diverse population of about 14,000 students who live near the Puget Sound about 15 miles north of Seattle, Washington.  Our mission is to help prepare our community's children to be successful, contributing workers, learners and citizens. Our students learn in an environment that is positive, caring, and focused on their highest academic potential. And, it's working. Mukilteo students consistently score well in annual achievement tests and win academic honors. Many people have moved to the area because of the first-rate Mukilteo school system.

  • Information & referral services - extensive information on community services and resources and can assist parents and teachers with referrals.

  • A resource library with handouts, magazine articles, books, videos and other materials on a variety of topics, e.g., literacy, homework help, managing television, education reform efforts, parent involvement, childhood developmental milestones and parent education. Some material is available in several languages.

  • Advocacy and leadership training for parents
Information on parental involvement plans, best practices for parental involvement, support for parents in need of assistance getting active in their child’s school, an established line of communication for parents to report abuses and obstacles.

  • Partnerships with after-school programs
