WASL TESTING
We will be on special class schedules April 15, 16, 17 and April 22, 23, 24 for WASL testing. Students will test first thing in the morning and have a shortened schedule (periods 1 to 6) following the tests. Reminder for your student: Arrive on time, eat a healthy breakfast, and get plenty of sleep.
FREE BREAKFAST DURING WASL WEEKS
The weeks of April 14, 21, and 28 are designated “WASL WEEKS” and Nutrition Services will be offering FREE breakfast to ALL students April 14 to May 2. Students may enter the building at 7:55A on those days if they are having breakfast.
SCRAPBOOKING CLUB
All students with an ASB membership are invited to participate in the Scrapbooking Club! Each week has a different theme and will be posted in the “After School” section below. This week is: Embellishing with Spring Ribbons.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR OF CLOTHING CENTER/SCHOOL BELL NEEDED
Every year over 620 students in the Mukilteo School District receive school clothes through the Assistance League of Everett. The program is looking for a new coordinator or two people willing to share the coordinator’s job. The job entails 10 – 12 hours per week and includes communicating with School Nurses and Office Staff, setting up and scheduling appointments and drivers, and coordination with the Assistance League. KAMIAK BAND, DANCE AND COLOR GUARD PARENTS
Interest and informational meeting for 2009 domestic trip this Thursday, April 17th from 7:30-8:30P at the Kamiak PAC. Performing Arts Booster Meeting begins at 7P and will be followed by the informational meeting.
DANCE TEAM TRY-OUTS
Clinics and try-outs for the 2008-2009 Kamiak Dance Team are April 21 to 24 in the Kamiak Main Gym from 3:15-5:15P. Try-out packets are available in HP Student Services.
