Our goal is 9000 items, or 3000 per grade level. We will run grade level contests for extra lunch time and the top grade level classes will receive a donut party. The drive begins next Monday, January14th and runs through the 25th. Donations should be turned into 1st period each day.
SPRING MUSICAL
Here are the 10 “Clues” for guessing the Spring Musical 1) Take place in a foreign land, 2) You do not need to learn a foreign dialect, 3) Transportation plays an important role, 4) Makeup will definitely be necessary, 5) The characters must be “multi-faceted,” 6) What would life be like without desires, 7) A coward dies a thousand deaths, but a hero, only one, 8) Good and evil struggle for domination, 9) Not all roads lead to heaven, and 10) A woman’s best friends are her shoes. And the Spring Musical is… The Wizard of Oz!

This program focuses on middle school seventh and eighth grade low-income students who are eligible for free and reduced meals and all foster students. The program also is available for this year’s eighth graders. Students must apply for the scholarship in either the seventh or eighth grade and must complete high school with at least a 2.0 grade-point average with demonstrated good citizenship. This scholarship will pay for tuition, fees, and books at all public and private colleges and community colleges in Washington.
If you are interested in this amazing opportunity, have your student contact their counselor right away. A copy of the flyer is available in student services. This year’s eighth grade class only has until June 1st to apply.”
