PARENT INFORMATION

PARENT COFFEE

This Wednesday, March 12th at 9A our parent coffee will be on Internet Safety. Detective Lee Malkow from the Snohomish Sheriff’s Office will be talking about child predators on the internet and other internet dangers. Detective Malkow is the ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Taskforce Investigator and mother of two teenage daughters. During her discussion she will actually connect to a chat room. She will show how easily a child’s personal information can be obtained and what may seem innocent can quickly change. This presentation is well worth attending!! The coffee will run until about 10:30A to allow time for the online demo and to answer your questions about your child using the internet.

HP JAZZ BAND

Not only did the HP Jazz Band earn 1st place in the Middle School Division at the Auburn Invitation Jazz Festival where they competed against 10 other middle school and junior high jazz bands from the area, they placed 1st out of 14 middle schools/junior highs at the Viking Jazz Festival in Poulsbo. This is the first time we have received 1st at this festival! Congratulations to our HP Jazz Band and Mr. Moody!!

AUDITION FOR THE ROLE OF “TOTO”

On Monday, March 17th at 12:30P, we will be auditioning for the part of “Toto” in the Spring Musical.
