SECOND TRIMESTER STUDENT OF THE MONTH BREAKFAST
Reminder to students and parents or guardians of December, January, and February Students of the Month, the second trimester breakfast is this Wednesday from 7:45 – 8:15A in the Library.
NEW CLUB – WEIGHT LIFTING
Mrs. Lawrence is starting a Weightlifting Club on Wednesday, March 26th and the club will run through May. If your student is interested, they must have an ASB membership. Have your student go to the Weight Room across from the Locker Rooms on the 26th if they wish to join.
GEOGRAPHY BEE
Update on the Geography Bee: Our 8th Grader Sarah Kirkpatrick has advanced to the State Geography Bee on April 4th in Tacoma! Way to go, Sarah!!

7th GRADE SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS INFORMATIONAL PARENT MEETING (SPEZIALY)
REMINDER: Mrs. Spezialy will be holding an informational meeting for parents this week on Tuesday (March 18th) and Wednesday (March 19th) from 6-7P in room W202 to show and explain the components in detail, her expectations and examples of projects from last year.
8th GRADE PARENTS – YEAR END PARTY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The 8th grade class awards and end-of-year party are just around the corner. The date is set for Tuesday, June 17th from 6:15 – 9:30P. With this big event comes the need for volunteers. Parents are needed to help with decorations, food, prizes, etc. Ms. Bradley would like to meet Tuesday, April 1st at 3:10P in the Library. If you would like to help but are unable to attend, feel free to email Ms. Bradley (

EVAN GARRETT FUNDRAISER
Many of our students participated in the Sparrow Club project last year to benefit Evan Garrett. Although Evan’s cancer has not returned, he is struggling from issues with the second stem cell transplant. Evan is currently back in Seattle for treatment and friends are rallying again to raise money to assist the Garrett’s with their housing costs while they are in Seattle March and April.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
2nd TRIMESTER AFTER SCHOOL PARTY
Volunteers are needed to help with the 2nd Trimester After School Party on Friday, March 28th. Volunteers are needed to sell and distribute wrist bands at each lunch (10:20A – 11:00A; 11:20A – 12:00P, 12:20P – 1:00P) and volunteers are needed to setup, chaperone, sell pizza and pop, cleanup between 2:30P and 5:00P. Please email me if you can help out.
