NEW AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

Starting THIS WEDNESDAY, the Builders Club will be meeting every Wednesday from 3 to 4P in Ms. Perry’s classroom (N204).  Builders Club is a student-led community service organization operating under school regulations.  What makes Builders Club so successful is that it teaches leadership through serving others and offers character and values development.  Students are asked to attend as many meetings as possible.  Community service opportunities will be discussed and brainstormed by the students during the meetings.  Kiwanis International supports our local club and provides programs, literature, and opportunities to relate to teenagers from countries all around the world.  http://www.buildersclub.org/builders/about/

PTO SPIRIT WEAR

PTO Spirit Wear ordered earlier this fall will be distributed again during lunches on Thursday.  Those students that have not picked up their orders should stop by the table outside Student Services during their lunch.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

PTO VOLUNTEERS – ASSIST WITH UGANDA DRIVE

A Wishing Well will be in the Commons during the Uganda Drive.  PTO is seeking volunteers to sit with the Wishing Well during lunches and count the money for grade level competitions between lunches.  Volunteers are needed for the following days - the shift is from 10:15A to 1:15P:  November 19th, 20th and 23rd.  Working in pairs makes the time go faster – so grab a friend.  If you can help out, please contact Shannon McCarty at dsn.mccarty@gte.net
