STUDENT DIRECTORY

Student Directories were distributed to students last Wednesday. These are provided to all students by the PTO – thank you to the PTO!!

WEB MOVIE EVENT

6th Graders and Web Leaders will be meeting in the Commons between 3 and 5P on Tuesday for Sixth Grade Movie Night. Popcorn and soda will be provided (free). The movie showing is Elf (rated PG). Permission slips need to be returned to your student’s Science Teacher. Parents need to arrange transportation home after the event – please pick up students in the FRONT parking lot.

AFTER SCHOOL PARTY

This Thursday will be our first after school party. Here’s how it works!! Students pick up a wrist band during their lunch period. If they have an ASB card (the parent volunteers have a list), the party is FREE and if they do not have an ASB card, the cost is $5. (NOTE: Students can purchase an ASB membership for $10 by going to Student Services and then will be able to attend all THREE school parties for the year for free.) The party runs from 3 to 4:30P. Students may not leave and come back during the party. An activity bus is available at 4:40P to take students home. A D.J. will be providing music in the Commons and the Gym is open for basketball and volleyball. Pizza and pop are sold at the party for 50˘ each. Please coordinate arrangements with your student BEFORE Thursday for this event.

INTRODUCTION TO THE SPRING MUSICAL

An introduction to the Spring Musical will be held Thursday, December 6th from 3 to 4:10P in the Choir/Orchestra Room (Note: This is a date change). Pointers will be given about the overall schedule, rehearsal policies, and techniques for auditions. Auditions for the Spring Musical is open to all students. The 15th Spring Musical at HP will be announced the first week of January. Director: Mrs. Riccardo 0

GEOGRAPHY BEE

We will be having a school-wide Geography Bee again this year with the preliminary round on January 10th and the final round on January 16th. Both of these will be after school in the Library. Students may sign up for the Bee in Student Services and pick up a list of websites to study from. The Geography Bee is open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Advisor: Mrs. Riccardo

GREY HOODIES

Grey hoodies order forms for second season sports are due to Student Services, Attn: Mr. Nelson no later than Thursday, November 29th. Copies of the forms are available in Student Services or can be printed from the website: http://schools.mukilteo.wednet.edu/hp/pages/PDFforms/Sweatshirtorderform.pdf

Sweatshirts are $30 and include NAME printed on the back. Each emblem printed on the sleeve is an additional $2.

KNIGHTS HOLIDAY HOOPS CAMP

Mukilteo students (grades 3 to 8) are invited to participate in the Knights Holiday Hoops Camp on December 27th and 28th from 9A to noon in the KHS Gym. Cost is $60. For more information and a registration form, contact me and I will email you a flyer.

SPORTS CALENDAR

SECOND SEASON SPORTS

Second season sports will practice all days this week. Volleyball will practice between 3 and 5P. Boys Basketball will practice between 4:30 and 6P. Schedules for games/matches for both sports are posted on the HP website (http://schools.mukilteo.wednet.edu/hp/pages/athletics1.htm)
