SPORTS/ACTIVITIES Winter Sports Begin
GIRLS’ STATE SWIMMING! - Erickson
Louise Moores led the knights with a 3rd place finish in the 50 free (with a school record time) and 5th in the 100 free. Fiona Weeks placed 5th in the diving event. Louise combined with Juleigh Duke, Aime Wilson, Alyssa Jacobson, Megan King, and Hannah Kohagen for two top 16 finishes in the relays. Nice!

KAMIAK DEBATE SWEEPS SNOHOMISH INVITATIONAL - Helman
This last weekend the Kamiak Debate Team competed at the Snohomish Invitational. Winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Novice Cross Examination Debate and 1st Place in Open Cross Examination Debate the team swept the tournament. Overall the team won 12 trophies. The trophy winners were: Alice Huang, Angel Wu, Aiden Skogheim, Kate Lawrenz, Ariel Freda, Derek Hanson, Vivian Zhu, Yvana Tran, Donald Chacon-Taylor, Yoeun Kim, Ted Kramer, and Hyoeun Kim. Congratulations.
GIRLS’ SOCCER TEAM - Stewart
Girls Soccer team both Varsity and JV, there will be a meeting after school Tuesday to turn in gear and vote for awards. We will meet outside the Gym.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE – Adams
Your 5th period class will be paired up with another class and you will fight to see who can bring in the most cans. You will have until November 24th. The winning class that brings in the most cans receives a pizza party. Bring items that are nonperishable. Thank you and GOODLUCK!

University of Washington Bothell Campus in the North Creek Events Center the Puget Sound Engineering Council will be hosting an Engineering Mentor Night. There will be over 40 engineering professionals from 18 engineering fields coming to meet students. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
