STUDENTS - Gallagher
Please be advised that the north parking lot (Yellow lot adjacent to
the gym) was reconfigured in August to a one-way drive through. This
configuration was the result of a district commissioned study to alleviate
congestion and more importantly, to improve pedestrian safety. We ask
that all of us please honor the one-way
traffic rule.
Also, buses that are entering and or leaving the campus always have
the right-of-way. Students and staff are asked to yield and to avoid
jumping in line with buses. Cars found to have jumped in line will be
re-routed out of line.
Finally, please avoid parking in and on pedestrian walkways in and
around the gym and pool areas. As we head into winter sports season it is
critical that we separate cars from pedestrians when entering and leaving a
night sporting event. There is ample parking in all Kamiak parking
lots to accommodate our needs. The area
between the gym and North portables is a designated fire lane. We need to
keep this area accessible and clear in the event that we need the services of
an aid-car or fire engine during school and sporting events. Cars found
blocking or parked in this area will be fined and removed by the Mukilteo
Police. Your cooperation is much cheaper and greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
