NOVEMBER STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING – ASB
Tuesday, November 24th at 7:00 am
in the East Campus MPR
All class/club reps and class officers are expected to attend.
Agendas will be in teacher boxes by Friday. Please bring your agenda to
the meeting on Tuesday.

GIRLS’ SOCCER TEAM - Stewart
Girls Soccer team both Varsity
and JV, there will be a meeting after school Tuesday to turn in gear and vote
for awards. We will meet outside the Gym.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE – Adams
Your 5th period class will be paired up with another class
and you will fight to see whocan bring in the most cans. You will have until
November 24th. The winning class that brings in the most cans
receives a pizza party. Bring items that are nonperishable. Thank you and GOODLUCK!

FOOD DRIVE UPDATE - Adams
If everyone at this school brings in 10 cans, just 10 cans, we
will hit our goal of donating 22,000 cans to Mukilteo Food Bank.
Currently, you can buy 10 cans for $1 at many local grocery stores. So
really…can you spare a dollar to help a needy family? 10 CANS-- Write it
in your planner, write it on your palm. Bring them in tomorrow! Together,
we can help many local families have food on the table this Thanksgiving. Have
you brought your 10?
GOBBLE GRAMS - Knights In
Action: Flynn
Who Are You Thankful For? Let someone know you appreciate them this
season by sending them a Gobble Gram! On November 17th and November
18th Knights in Action will be in front of the counseling office
with free blank Gobble Grams you can address to your friends and teachers to
let them know you’re grateful they’re in your life. Grams will be delivered
during third period on November 20th.
AMC TEST TICKETS - Purcell
Last week to buy
your ticket for the AMC test. Only $5. The bookkeeper will sell them at lunch,
before and after school. Given on February 9th,
1st and 2nd period. This is a must for
the serious math and science students who want to have a strong
resume. There is both a 9/10 and 11/12 test. Do not delay.

COLLEGE VISIT - Chang
Are you the kind of person who likes to work with your hands? Have you
thought of a career in the auto, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle or marine
industries? The advanced technologies of today’s vehicles have put trained
technicians in high demand. To learn more about world-class employers such as
Audi, BMW, International Truck, Porsche, Harley Davidson, Honda, Yamaha ,
Kawasaki and many more, plan to attend a presentation by UTI Universal
Technical Institute in the career center on Thursday November 19 at 10:30. Sign
up in the Career Center today!
COUNSELING: Mead/Hansen
Are you interested in the Engineering field?
Tuesday, November 17th from 6:00 -8:00pm at the
University of Washington Bothell Campus in the North Creek
Events Center the Puget Sound Engineering Council will be hosting an
Engineering Mentor Night. There will be over 40 engineering professionals
from 18 engineering fields coming to meet students. Pizza and
refreshments will be provided.
FINE ARTS SENIOR NEWS
SENIOR GRAD KNIGHT 2010 TICKET SALES – Sr. Grad Committee
Tickets for Grad Night Post Graduation Event will be on sale EVERY
Wednesday at both lunches. The cost is $175. You can put down a
deposit of $100 or pay in full. Grad Knight is a parent sponsored event
that allows our students to have a safe, sober, and amazing graduation
night! Win CASH with your pre-payment! For every deposit
toward the Grad Knight Event, a student will receive one entry for $50 cash to
be awarded the Friday before Christmas break. We know you will need
shopping money! For every student who prepays $175, they will receive 2
entries toward the $50 drawing. All monies must be received by Wednesday
December 16 to qualify.
SENIORS- Kerscher/Goodman
Check out the new “Senior Culminating Center” bulletin board outside
the main office. It lists your name and the month you are scheduled to
present. If you don’t see your name, you need to see us ASAP in the main
office to get on our culminating schedule. You will also see who has
presented and passed their culminating project.
OTHER NEWS
SKI BUS – Mead
It is dumping in the mountains and now is a perfect time to sign up
for the 2010 Ski Bus. Brochures are available in the Counseling
Office. If you have questions see Mrs. Mead. Think white!
