PSAT Reminder:  Juniors can register for the PSAT during lunches through October 15th.

 

The COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER will be closed Tuesday, October 7, 2008, and Wednesday, October 8, 2008.

 

SCHOOL BUS RIDERS ARE BEING COUNTED. Students riding the school bus through next Thursday, October 9, are being counted to determine the amount of transportation funding the school district will receive from the state. During the annual
Count Week, school bus drivers will carefully count the number of students who ride the buses to school in the morning. That count then becomes the basis for the school district’s share of state funding for pupil transportation for the entire year.

 

Attention Senior Achiever Scholars, reminder there is an Achievers meeting this Tuesday, 10/7/08 at 2pm in the Commons. Attendance is mandatory! Please plan on staying to help with the Junior Application Help Session, immediately following the meeting.

                                                                                                                                                                               

Calling all Juniors! If you NEED HELP ON THE ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION, or NEED TO PICK UP AN APPLICATION, come this Tuesday 10/7 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm to the Commons, and E238. Achievers will also be there to help you apply online, and review your essays. Scholarship Deadline: October 24th!!!

Please note this correction: the Access Code for the online Achievers application is maric10as, (not Maric10as)

 

The Mariner Blood Drive will be October 17th  in the Aux Gym.  To sign up to donate go to the ASB Superstore.  If you are a first time donor you will need to get a permission slip signed by a parent as well.

 

Seniors:  Sign-ups for the culminating project are in Room E231 (Math Lab).  Our first presentation session is October 21st, after school.  Your artifacts are to be in the eFolio system no later than Wednesday, October 15th; this also includes your High School and Beyond Plan.  Looking for assistance?  Come by E231 before and after school.
