Our neighbors are complaining about the increase of litter in the neighborhoods around Mariner…please be respectful of other people’s property and our environment…dispose of your trash appropriately….thank you!

 

Mr. Knopf will be showing the television miniseries Helen of Troy  from 2:05 to 4:05 both Tuesday and Wednesday this week, September 30th and October 1st. Freshmen studying The Odyssey and/or Greek mythology may enjoy this story as an interesting background to the story of the Trojan War that led to the Odyssey of Odysseus.

 

College & Career Center will host visits from Western Washington University, October 2nd at 10:30 a.m. and

St. Martins University, October 3rd at 10:30 a.m.

 

JUNIOR PRESENTATIONS will be by academy on Wednesday October 1st in the library.

Parking passes are on sale now in the Student Accounts office.  Parking forms are outside the Student Accounts office.  You must bring your vehicle registration, proof of insurance, $15.00 and have a parent’s signature.  You may not receive a parking pass if you have any fines. Citations will begin being issued October 1st.

 

Attention Senior Achiever Scholars, reminder there is an Achievers meeting this Tuesday, 10/7/08 at 2pm in the Commons. Attendance is mandatory! Please plan on staying to help with the Junior Application Help Session, immediately following the meeting.

                                                                                                                                                                               

Calling all Juniors! If you NEED HELP ON THE ACHIEVERS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION, or NEED TO PICK UP AN APPLICATION, come this Tuesday 10/7 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm to the Commons, and E238. Achievers will also be there to help you apply online, and review your essays. Scholarship Deadline: October 24th!!!

The Mariner Blood Drive will be October 17th  in the Aux Gym.  To sign up to donate go to the ASB Superstore.  If you are a first time donor you will need to get a permission slip signed by a parent as well.

 

Seniors:  Sign-ups for the culminating project are in Room E231 (Math Lab).  Our first presentation session is October 21st, after school.  Your artifacts are to be in the eFolio system no later than Wednesday, October 15th; this also includes your High School and Beyond Plan.  Looking for assistance?  Come by E231 before and after school.
