Lower Play Area

bulletRubber balls ONLY (no baseballs, etc.)

bulletAsk adult to retrieve any ball that goes past the blue line (by trees)

bulletPortables and landscape area are OFF LIMITS
bulletNo throwing balls at anyone on the wall
bulletNo digging in embankment that goes up the field
bulletThe line near the bikes means WALK
bulletWhen you reach the path to the office, WALK

Playfield

bulletStay out from behind the backstop
bulletNo climbing on the backstop
bulletSit on the bleachers, no running or jumping
bulletDo not go over the hill; one person may retrieve a ball
bulletNo climbing on the fence
bulletNo climbing on the goalposts
bulletNo "twirling" around the base of the goalposts
bulletStay out of the woods
bulletTag football only, no tackle
bulletThe embankment is OFF LIMITS
bulletKeep dirt on the ground - do NOT kick the dir, or "drag" lines in it
bulletStay out of puddles
bulletStairs: Stay off the banister and the concrete siding; Walk up & down

Big Toy

bulletSlide: Top to bottom, on your bottom, feet first only
bulletTube is a slide-do NOT climb on top of tube
bulletIf slide or tube are wet, do not use them
bulletStay out of woods
bulletWhen walking onthe chains, you must hold the overhead chain for balance
bulletNO RUNNING IN BARKED AREA AT ALL!!!
bulletNO TAG in the barked area
bulletDo not jump off the Big Toy
bulletDo not climb on top of the logs
bulletLeave the bark on the ground

Playshed / Tetherball

bulletDo not go behind the wall
bulletStay off the big rocks and the hill
bulletObserve the painted lines
bulletNo kicking balls in this area - take it to the field
bulletDo not hang or sit on the tetherballs
bulletDo not climb on the tetherball poles
bulletStay out of the woods

Bars: Ladder, Twirls and Rings

bulletOne person at a time on any item
bulletOne direction only
bulletIf you can't reach it, you are too small to use it
bulletDO NOT RUN IN THE BARKED AREA
bulletNo tag in barked area
bulletLeave the bark on the ground - don't kick it or push it around
bulletLadder: Do not sit on the top
bulletTwirls: No penny drop, hands must be onthe bars at all times, stand back away from the bars while you wait your turn, limit of three tricks, do not stand on the bars and you can sit on the bars as long as both hands are on the bars.
bulletRings: HANDS ONLY - do not hang by your knees, no one is to help you reach the rings - you must be able to reach yourself, and do not sit on the rings.

General Rules

bulletThe light standard is off limits - no sitting, standing or playing on it
bulletStay away from the bicycles
bulletObserve all boundary lines
bulletYou must have a pass to leave the playground
bulletBe careful around the running strip
bulletWhat's on the ground stays on the ground (rocks, dirt, snow, etc.)
bulletIf you find nails, glass, etc. TELL AN ADULT
bulletNO SPITTING at any time
bulletRemember to walk at the yellow line near the light standard
bulletStay out of puddles
bulletThe back of the cafeteria wall is off limits
bulletIf someone is on the wall, DO NOT TALK TO THEM
bulletWhen the bell rings or the whistle blows, recess is over. Stop playing immediately. If you continue to bounce a ball of jump rope, you may lose that piece of equipment. If you continue to play after the bell, you may lose time off your next recess.
