My name is Susan Bennett and I teach a wonderful 1st grade class at Discovery Elementary. I’ve been very lucky to be a teacher at Discovery for nine years. My past teaching positions have been in Title Reading/Math and Kindergarten.

I am originally from Pennsylvania where I attended Westminster College. I’ve been married for 26 years. My husband and I moved slowly west to Colorado, Montana, and finally, Washington State. We lived in Spokane and Vancouver before moving to Mukilteo. We have two daughters who are currently going to Western Washington University and Washington State University.  The newest additions to our family are two Corgi’s. They are small herding dogs who have short legs but are very agile. They keep us all very busy.

In my spare time, I love to read and travel to new places. I also love spending time with my family and playing tennis.
