environment of the students who may apply for and/or gain employment from these
postings. Students need to consult with their parent or guardian and be
aware of the risks before applying for the jobs advertised. Employers may
hire students under the age of 18 if work rules, permits and conditions for
working minors are followed according to guidelines by Washington State
Department of Labor and Industries. Maximum hours for students 16-17 is 20
hours during the school week and students 14-15 is 16 hours week.
