Which College Admissions Test Should I Take?

A necessary component of an admission application is a college entrance examination score; most universities cannot process an application without one.  There are two exams - the ACT (American College Test) and the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) - and most U.S. Colleges accept both.  Many students may not, however, know a great deal about the two tests and how they differ and therefore, may be unsure about which test would be best for them to take, based upon their abilities, experiences, and needs. The option is yours, to take one or both, as colleges typically utilize the higher of the two scores for admission, talent identification, and academic advising.
