I was born in Seattle and grew up in Bothell and Lynnwood. I grew up in a family of 4, 5 if you count the dog! I graduated from Mariner High School, then began taking courses at Edmonds Community College. After graduating from EdCC, I knew education was my passion, so I attended Western Washington University. I graduated after a three year night school program with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Child Development and began teaching fourth grade the following September. I've worked in the Mukilteo School District ever since! After four years of teaching fourth grade, I've made the switch back to third grade.
During the summer of 2005, I married my sweetheart. We live near Forest Park with our big, fluffy dog, Charlie. I enjoy playing soccer, rollerblading, and going for walks or bike rides with my new husband. I would also like to try rock-climbing, but am having a hard time convincing anyone to come along with me! Being active is very important to me!
