Students will have classroom goals to meet every week, which includes homework.  For homework, students must do two pieces of homework a week:  spelling and math.  Students will choose the specific way in which to meet these goals, and if all goals are met~ they will get a stamp on their goal passport.  **Incentives Apply!

The other required assignment is to read for at least 20 minutes each night.  This assignment is to be done everyday to help students become more fluent readers.  Students are responsible for filling out their reading log and having parents sign/initial after they read.  Reading logs are due every MONDAY.   In order to be achieving grade level standards, students should be reading at least 120 minutes a week, taking AR tests on the books they've read, and be on task when silent reading during class.
