Every Friday a student is randomly chosen to be the Super Star for the following week.  This is their time to shine and share with their classmates more about themselves. A poster that needs to be decorated will come home that day.  This is a very fun and exciting time, and it should make your star student feel very special!  Being the Super Star means that your child will get a few extra privileges for the week, including being the line leader, my special helper and having free choice time on Friday while we, as a class, compile a special book for him or her.

Please take some time to do the poster over the weekend with your child and send it back to school on Monday.  Photographs, drawings, magazine cut outs, stickers etc. all work great for this.  Be creative and enjoy!
