Extra Credit Report for Chemistry

General Conditions of eXtra Credit (XC) Report :

(25 points per quarter , one report per quarter allowed, due 1 week (approximately-posted) before end of quarter, permission sheet 2 weeks before end of quarter)

topic choice approved ahead of time-check with instructor by 1 week before deadline, approval form included with report, report emphasis framed as a question.

500 word minimum (written or spoken).

final draft is in 1 of 4 forms that are mutually exclusive .

(Word, Publisher Newsletter, Publisher Website, PowerPoint)

take notes from your references and include them with your report.

make a rough draft (print before spell check & grammar check) and include it with your report.

Report has a Works Cited page with at least 3 websites and materials drawn from that site

Reports are graphics rich enough to support presentation form.

report has a separate title page with title, student name, class name and period.

report has a separate bibliography with at least 3 sources or credits following MLA format.

use of more than 1 encyclopedia as a reference is prohibited

work must be original and not plagiarized

typed reports on loose leaf paper only-no torn edges

generally neat, spelled correctly and logically arranged

printed medias need copies made for entire class, visual materials saved on the display computer the day before presentation.

No extra credit for that quarter awarded if all above criteria not met
