Using a RED pen or pencil
when editing a peer’s paper, check off the following items on the checklist
below. Make corrections DIRECTLY on the
person’s paper. Just as you would want
someone to point out your mistakes so they can be corrected, you need to be a
good editor on another’s paper.
Check off each item as
it is completed.

Mark and fix
any other grammatical errors.

sentence that is confusing. (You may
want to read it out loud to the person to demonstrate that it is confusing.)
