Unit schedules with all assignments and due dates given outprior to start of each unit
Lectures presented using Microsoft PowerPoint ®
Lecture, video, and book notes are to be taken using a modified Cornell note taking system.
No late work accepted
Frequent extra credit is available, however none is retroactive!
"Pop quizzes" after most reading assignments.
US History unit tests are equally weighted between two FRQs (free response question) and twenty-five multiple-choice questions
AP HumGeo unit tests are equally weighted between one FRQ (25 minute time limit) and twenty-five multiple-choice questions (20 minute time limit)
Potential FRQs are provided with unit schedule (US History only)
I will review outline answers to the FRQs prior to test (US History only)
US History's 1st semester's project is traditional paper and due before leaving for Winter (Christmas Break)
2nd semester's project is a PowerPoint presentation
Only water consumed in classroom
Use furniture as designed
No hats, hoods, sunglasses in classroom.
Cell phones off or on silent
