The ITBS testing is scheduled to be given to third graders during the week of March 10th-14th . There are many things that you can do at home to help your child be successful during the testing process. Thanks so much for your continued support!
| Please be sure that your child gets to bed
early each night so that they can get plenty of sleep before the test.
They concentrate much better when they are well rested.
| Your child should also eat a healthy breakfast
that is high in protein. This will give them a nutritional
"boost" and help maintain their energy during testing.
| Send your student to school with a few extra pencils. They will need
SHARP #2 pencils with erasers. We will provide each student with one
shiny new pencil, but extras are always helpful!
| Provide your student with a healthy snack. This will give them a
short break in between sections of the test, and a little extra energy to
continue their testing.
| Give your child lots of extra encouragement and TLC throughout the week (this test can be exhausting for a 8-9 year old kid!) |
Thank you again for all that you do!!
