Name:  Governors' Scholarship for Foster Youth

 Award: $2,000 - $4000

 Eligibility: High school Senior who is recognized as a dependent youth in foster care or kinship care in Washington State, federal or tribal out-of-home care, has resided in Washington State for at least three academic years prior to high school graduation and has a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.

Name:  Sullivan Leadership Award

 Award: Full tuition, room and meal expenses for four years of undergraduate study at Seattle Univ. 

Eligibility: High school Senior with a GPA of 3.5 who is committed to leadership, service, social justice, and community and international awareness, as well as strong academic achievement.

 Name:  Better Business Bureau - Students of Integrity Scholarship

Stop by the career center for an application

 Award: $1000 Scholarship

 Eligibility:

·         Attend an accredited high school in Western Washington or Oregon.

·         A student of the 2009 or 2010 graduating class who will be attending college after graduation.

·         Resides in Western Washington or Oregon

·         Has a good academic standing and a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

 Selection: This award is designed to support students who recognize the importance of ethical and responsible marketplace practices.

 Deadline: Friday, November 28th, 2008

 

 

Name: Elks National Foundation, 2009 Most Valuable Student Scholarship Application

 Award: 500 Four Year Awards from $60,000 to $4,000. Total of $2,296,000 in Awards!

 Eligibility: Any high school senior who is a US citizen is eligible. Male and female students compete separately for identical awards.

 Selection: Based on completed application (*following directions is key).

Name: US Bank Internet Scholarship Program

 Award: $1000

 Eligibility: No essays, no minimum GPA required.

 Selection: Thirty $1,000 scholarships awarded in a random drawing. Apply online at www.usbank.com/studentbanking.
