Use the following links and documents to help with your online research.  Ask Mrs. Livingston or Mrs. Erickson for the eLibrary and World Book passwords before you leave the library today, so you can access these sources away from school.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT . . .

1. Choose Two Cultures of the Eastern Hemisphere, using the lists from the Research Packet.  List A includes cultures for which a great deal of information is readily available, and List B includes cultures that may be more challenging to research.  Choose your cultures based on the level of challenge that you believe is appropriate for you.

2. Use the research packet to take notes about the environment and technology of the two cultures.

3. Continuing in the research packet, use the notes that you took to thoroughly answer the corresponding questions.

4. Choose one of the final product options below.  Create this final product, incorporating all the information from the answers to your questions in the research packet:
- Create a poster-sized chart
-Create a model of technologies from the two cultures (the base for each should be no larger that 8.5 inches on any side). *Include the required information in essay form.
-Create an illustrated book

5. Plan a presentation and present your project to the class.

6. Turn in the packet and your final product.
