An integral part of selecting our entering class is our unique audition and interview experience, designed to show  your strengths while helping us assess your aptitude and ability to succeed in Berklee's highly charged and dynamic environment.  There's more than $15 million in scholarship funds available.  Through the audition and interview process, every applicant is considered for scholarship--including the Presidential Scholarship, which covers tuition, housing, and the required laptop computer. 

 

 

DIGIPEN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

DigiPen Institute of Technology is offering seven merit-based scholarships to high school seniors who have participated on a FIRST team during their junior or senior year.  Applicants must:  have participated at least one full season on a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team or a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team; and apply and be admitted to one of DigiPen's full-time degree programs.

Emory University announces a new scholarship opportunity for students with a strong interest in business as evidenced by engagement in entrepreneurial activities, participation in internships, membership in business clubs, and/or involvement in business-related conferences, competitions, and similar offerings.  Leadership and community service are also important components in the selection process, and candidates who bring diverse perspectives and backgrounds are of special interest.

Each year, Emory offers scholarships based on academic merit to a select group of incoming first-year students who then join other outstanding Emory students as members of the Emory Scholars Program. Distinguished members of the faculty serve as program directors and advisers, facilitating the scholars access to the academic and cultural opportunities.

 

Students must be nominated by appropriate officials of their high school or by the Emory Admission Committee to be considered for one of these scholarships.

FASHION INSTITUTE OF DESIGN & MERCHANDISING

Each year, FIDM awards over $300,000 in scholarships.  Through our National Scholarship Competition, six students who demonstrate an exceptional talent and interest in Fashion Design, Visual Communications, Interior Design, Digital Media, Fashion Merchandising, or Graphic Design will each win a one-year scholarship to attend FIDM (includes tuition, fees, books, and most supplies--minus any grants or scholarship for which they are eligible).

SCHOOL of VISUAL ARTS--Silas H. Rhodes Scholarship Program

First-time  freshman and transfer applicants seeking admission to a full-time undergraduate program for the fall 2008 semester with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible for this award.  Scholarship decisions are based on a review of the applicant's creative and academic accomplishments.  Applicants will not be considered for scholarship until all the requirements for undergraduate admission have been completed.  

 

 

SCRIPPS COLLEGE / New Generation Scholarship

Four years full tuition, room, board, three round-trip airfares home each academic year, and funding for on summer research stipend to be used after the students' junior year.

The New Generation Scholarships, established in 2001, are competitive, merit-based scholarships awarded to first-year students for outstanding academic excellence.

SEATTLE UNIVERSITY--The Sullivan Leadership Award

Since 1989 SU's Sullivan Leadership Award has supported students who have promoted social justice through their service and leadership.  Each  year nine incoming freshmen are selected for these scholarships, which cover undergraduate tuition, room, and meals for four years of study at Seattle University.  Sullivan Scholars represent a variety of heritages--small towns and large cities, public and independent high schools, Catholic and other religious traditions.  These diverse students share a common objective:  to develop leadership models for serving others.

 

 

SHORELINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE--Merit Scholarship

Open to students who are neither Canadian citizens nor permanent residents of Canada with annual financial need of at least $14,000 CAD.  Selection based on academic merit, leadership skills, involvement in student affairs or contribution to community service, recognized achievement in fields of endeavor such as the performing arts, athletics, debating or creative writing, or achievement in external math or science competitions or examinations.

This scholarship is awarded to a future UW student that displays good character, a strong work ethic, and ambition in life.  We will be judging this by grades, difficulty of classes taken, test scores, leadership, and extracurricular activities.  Selection is NOT based solely on financial need.  It is one of the criteria, but other factors are greatly considered. 

 

 

UNIVERSITY of WASHINGTON--Delta Upsilon Men's Undergraduate Scholarship

The four Delta Upsilon Scholarships are open only to men entering their first year of college at the University of Washington.  These scholarships will be awarded based on personal merit as well as academic qualification and well balanced extracurricular activities.  Applicants need not join Delta Upsilon Fraternity or any other Greek institution in order to be considered. 

 

 

UNIVERSITY of WASHINGTON--Husky Promise

This past fall, the University of Washington established the Husky Promise, a guarantee to academically qualified students from low and lower middle-income families across the state of Washington that they can get a world-class education at the UW without paying for tuition and fees.

The Kappa Alpha Gentlemen's Scholarship was created to honor men who have shown outstanding achievement as an individual in scholarship, leadership, and community service while in high school and have a current cum GPA of 3.2 or higher.  Applicants do not have to be interested in joining the Kappa Alpha Order to be considered.
