Semester Final  requirement

Graphic art  is a computer art class.  Students will complete a graphic art piece and upload an art artifact to their e-folio
(graduation requirement).

 First semester students will complete the Washington Stat Art Assessment (CBPA) at the end of the year they  will upload an art artifact into their e-folio.
(graduation requirement)

Students will present an electronic slide show of their ceramic pieces to their classmates.

Class descriptions

 

Graphic Arts is a one semester computer art course. Students will complete computer art for print and electronic presentations. Their art exploration will include the use of creative problem solving skills,  self - reflection, verbal and written communications, and peer and self - assessment.

Art 1 is a two semester (one year)  introductory and continuing art course. Students will complete two and three dimensional art project in various media including: drawing, painting, printmaking, graphic arts, and ceramics.  Their art exploration will include use of creative problem solving skills, self-reflection verbal and written  communications, and peer and self-assessment.

Ceramics  is a one semester three dimensional art course.  Students will complete art projects using clay and other media  to solve conceptual creative problems.
