This project
based learning activity was created in 2003 by a team of Mukilteo
School District second grade teachers. It took my
class a good three to four weeks to go through the process, but it
was well worth it. Students finished with a PowerPoint story
they had written about a dinosaur in their own time period. |
This
PowerPoint activity provides students with a chance to practice
identifying and naming spider parts on pictures of real life
spiders. Not all pictures have all parts showing, which
forces the children to reason through their selections. |
