ASB Homepage

The ASB is the student government organization at Harbour Pointe Middle School. 
There is one big fundraiser each fall to raise money for student activities:
the magazine drive.  Money earned through the magazine drive supports
non-curricular school activities for all students: from school parties, to intramurals
and clubs, to sports equipment and referees, to grade-level rewards. 

     The ASB meets once a month to approve expenditures of ASB funds and
to discuss student life at our school.  The ASB is led by the Cabinet,
which includes an elected president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer,
and grade-level representatives.  Each first period class elects a representative
to attend monthly ASB meetings and represent your interests.

Clubs and Activities
There are many clubs at Harbour Pointe Middle School, to serve a diversity
of student interests.  Last year, the list of clubs included the Sports Club, the
Art Club, the Weightlifting Club, the National Junior Honor Society, the Knitting
Club, the Scrap booking Club,  and more.  There is also a spring musical production,
which involves many students in its production. 

Club existence from year to year depends on student interest and the availability
of a staff advisor.  The ASB funds club activities.  Students who participate
in club activities need to purchase ASB membership. If you and some friends
have a special interest, talk to the Activity Coordinator about forming a club.
