Kamiak High School is located in Mukilteo, Washington bounded by Puget Sound, Edmonds, and Everett. The high school, which opened in 1993, is located in the primarily suburban area of Harbour Pointe, near Boeing and several smaller manufacturing firms. Kamiak High School is about 25 miles north of downtown Seattle and is accessible to a number of colleges and universities. Kamiak has a population of approximately 2000 students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, and is accredited by the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. School District is in Southwest Snohomish County and is comprised of
Kamiak High School, Mariner High School, ACES Alternative High School,
four middle schools, and twelve elementary schools.
In
addition to a regular curriculum, Advanced Placement courses are taught
in Art, English, US History, European History, American Government,
Human Geography, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
B, Physics C, Statistics, French, and Spanish.
Students earn a Mukilteo School District diploma; some may earn
an Advanced Academic Endorsement, which includes advanced curriculum. The Counseling Staff at Kamiak is available for all students
to assist in developing post high school plans.
The
Learning Support Center (LSC) provides instructional support for
students and staff. Sno-Isle
Tech Skills Center is a 14-district cooperative that provides an opportunity
for students in grades 11 and 12 to receive advanced job training while
in high school. Many
students participate in Running Start through several nearby community
colleges.

Each semester class earns .50 credit. Twenty-two and one-half credits are required for graduation.
Kamiak High School graduates have an excellent record for acceptance and performance at competitive colleges. Approximately 85 percent of the student body continue on to further schooling.
