2.  Test Oct 2  GLE 4.3.1

 Define Psychology, explain psychoanalysis, behaviorism; explain how the use of psychology can help explain the past.

THE TEST: Two essay questions.  The first is to explain why Wilhelm II started WWI  as if you were Sigmund Freud using psychoanalysis. I will information on Wilhelm for regular World History class.  I will not for Honors. The handout is located here  Second, explain the difference between classical conditioning and operant conditioning.  How are they both different from psychoanalysis?

3. Test 10-13 GLE 3.2.1

South Central Asia: Identify countries, landforms.  1.  Discuss Hinduism and Buddhism.  2. Who are the Moguls

4.  Test 10-20   The three Muslim Empires.  question:

1.  Why were they called the Gunpowder Empires and why is it significant

2.  What can we learn about the development of Islam from studying the 3 empires?

5.  TEST 10-23 Social Sciences Test Economics- Supply and Demand and stocks and corporations.  Test will be 10-23

first question: using a chart, show how the buying and selling of snickers bars in the classroom would change based on price.  I expect a chart and a paragraph explaining how it works.

Second question:  explain to me how you could start a "corporation" 

6.  TEST 11-06-09  Geography-South-East Asia  Flipchart is started for the map. Short essay question:  explain the cultural divide in Southeast Asia from a geography perspective.  This is based on the Annimite mountains creating a cultural barrier between Viet Nam and the rest of  Southeast Asia. Or: who were the Austronesians and why were they so successful? China has a big effect on Viet Nam and India has a big effect on the rest.

7. TEST 11-20-09  East Asia locate on the map: China, Japan, Taiwan, North and South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao

essays:  Why isn't Taiwan considered a country?  and Compare and contrast Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism

8. TEST 1-25-09   History-European Expansion How and why were the Europeans able to find new trade routes to Asia.  What were the consequences?
