Schedule

Ms. Wheeler has been speaking French since she was a freshman in high school. She traveled to France when she was seventeen, staying with a French family in the city of Blois, in the Loire Valley.  Since then, she has returned to France over a dozen times. 

She attended Whittier College, a small, liberal-arts college outside L.A., where she majored in English and minored in French. She returned to the Puget Sound in 1992. A teacher since 1990, Ms. Wheeler has been at Mariner High for over 10 years, and teaches both French and English.  Ms. Wheeler has taught French since 1999, and has taught AP English IV off and on for over10 years.

Her favorite novel is Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, but she also loves the novels of Jane Austen and the plays of Shakespeare.
