Library Staff
Susan Rahkonen, Library Media Specialist
I am excited about my ability to work with all students in the school as well as the entire staff. I left my job in the Shoreline School District three years ago after teaching there for 17 years to become your librarian. I love to write and read of course, and enjoy all subject areas which is why I taught at the elementary level. Other interests include getting outside to walk, bike, ski, play golf, swim, kick the soccer ball around with my daughter and just enjoy the beauty of the PNW. I grew up on the East Coast in Maryland and moved here in 1979.
Geri Davis, Library Assistant
Working in the library is an excellent way for me to be involved in all aspects of the Voyager community. Helping students find a good book, watch as they receive an award and working with the staff on a variety of projects are all pluses in this job. All of my life I have called Washington home except when I attended Brigham Young University. I have worked at Voyager since1994. My activities outside of work include the outdoors, sewing, gardening, grandchildren, and reading.
